Theoretical Analysis of “The Notebook as a Thriller”

A Theoretical Analysis of The Notebook as a Thriller

In my theoretical analysis, I talked about how the creator took this romantic comedy and made it a thriller. Noah became the bad guy who is going after Ali because he wants her all to himself. At one point the soundtrack becomes very fast pace and scary following a montage of clips that shows Ali trying to run from Noah in various parts of the movie. It make it even scarier, it shows clips when Noah finds Ali years later. If someone had not seen the original, they would not understand the true meaning behind the scenes. Please read my analysis and enjoy!
