The Hills are Alive With the Sound of Screaming

I chose to do The Sound of Music as a thriller because of it being not only one of my favorite films, but it is also a classic. Often times, we do not get to look at classic movies in a different way, let alone analyze how they differ from the original. In this remix I take a look at how six components (gesture, closure, soundtrack, intertextuality, juxtaposition, montage) of a remix have an effect on changing the original meaning and plot to The Sound of Music. What was once a family musical about freedom and love, now becomes a mad escape for their lives from evil nuns and vicious Nazis lurking in windows.
